Welcome
to the Rotary Club of Reigate Hill.
The club was formed in March 1986 and has a membership of 21. We meet
every Wednesday, mostly at the Reigate Manor Hotel, visitors are always
welcome.
Please check our What's On page and
contact our Dining Steward if you intend to
visit. Membership of the club is open to both men and women.
The club is part of a world-wide organisation (Rotary International) of professional and business men and women who adopt the motto 'Service above Self'. Clubs are formed within a network of Districts throughout the world. By providing a friendly atmosphere and creating a willingness to respect and learn from other members Rotary Clubs also encourage use of the combined skills of the membership in service to the community. This ranges from the provision of charitable funds through to physically lending a 'helping hand'.
Members are drawn from diverse occupations ranging from doctors to engineers, shopkeepers to solicitors, self-employed individuals to company directors.
Reigate Hill arranges its own programme within the parameters set by Rotary International. Our programme includes regular committee meetings, business meetings and guest speakers on a variety of interesting subjects. As one of our prime objectives is friendship several evenings during the year are purely social events, to many of which partners are invited.
If you are tempted by the idea of belonging to an active club which makes a real contribution, both locally and internationally, call Ian Walker on 01737 210697.
